An empty gap list is almost always a filter problem, not a platform problem.
Common causes: - gap % threshold too high - liquidity/price filters too tight - wrong time/session - market is quiet in your lane

Step 1 — Lower the Gap % threshold¶
If you set a high gap % min, some days will show nothing.
Test: - lower the gap threshold temporarily - see if symbols appear
Step 2 — Loosen liquidity slightly¶
If you require very high dollar volume premarket, you can filter out everything.
Loosen: - dollar volume - volume today - average daily volume
Step 3 — Check price range¶
If your max price is too low (or min too high), you can wipe the list.
Widen temporarily to diagnose.
Step 4 — Confirm session/time¶
If you’re expecting premarket gappers: - make sure you’re scanning during premarket - don’t accidentally filter to regular hours only
Step 5 — Sanity check the day¶
Some days aren’t “gap days” in your lane.
Quick test: - load a broader Top List (wider filters) - confirm something is moving
