Trade Ideas Cloud: save your work so you never rebuild it

If you want to get good at Trade Ideas quickly, you need one habit:

Save your work to the cloud every time you improve it.

This page shows a clean, practical workflow for saving: - a single window (Top List or Alert Window) - your entire layout (multiple windows) - updates without breaking your “production” version

Why Cloud matters (in real life)

Cloud saving is what lets you: - build on a laptop, then trade on your desktop without rebuilding - share a setup with someone (or your future self) - keep a “stable” version and a “testing” version of the same window

What you can save

Save a window

Use this when you’ve tuned a Top List or Alert Window and want to keep it.

Right-click a window and choose “Save or Share to Cloud…”

Save or Share to Cloud dialog: name and save your window

Save a full layout

Use this when you’ve built a working multi-window setup (Top List + Alert + Chart).

Tip: use Entire Layout when you want your full workflow to load exactly the same way next time.

1) Use clear names

Good naming pattern: - Gap List - v1 - Gap List - v2 (testing) - Buy The Dip Alert - v1

The goal is to keep “production” stable while you test changes.

Example: “Load from Cloud” list + version notes (v1/v2/v3)

2) Save after you make one improvement

Don’t wait until you’ve changed 10 things. Save small improvements so you can roll back.

3) Keep a “template” version

Have a clean, reusable baseline you can copy from: - fewer filters - fewer opinions - easy to explain

Load from Cloud (common use cases)

Load a window into a new session

This is what you do every day if you want consistency: 1. Open Trade Ideas 2. Load your layout 3. Start scanning (no rebuilding)

Load from Cloud: pick a saved layout/window

Load into Brokerage+ (automation)

If you use Brokerage+, Cloud is how you move a strategy into your execution setup. - Brokerage+ automation tutorial

Troubleshooting (Cloud)

“I can’t find my saved window”

Checklist: - confirm you’re logged into the same Trade Ideas account - search by name (and check spelling) - verify you saved the right thing (window vs layout)

“My loaded window looks different than before”

Usually this is one of: - columns changed (or were not saved with the way you expect) - you loaded a different version (v1 vs v2) - you saved the layout, not the individual window (or vice versa)

FAQ

What is Trade Ideas Cloud?

Trade Ideas Cloud is your personal storage for windows and layouts so you can load them from any computer you log into.

Both. Save individual windows when you make improvements, and save layouts when your full workspace is in a good state.

How often should I save?

Every time you make a meaningful improvement. Small iterations compound fast.
